FUNDRAISING MANAGER

OVERVIEW:

The IRISH MEN?S SHEDS ASSOCIATION (IMSA) exists to support an

community-focused, member-based organisations open to men of all ages
and backgrounds, regardless of abilities or circumstances.

Our vision is of an Ireland where every man has the opportunity to
join a Men?s Shed, and where Men?s Sheds are integral parts of
their communities, accessible to all. We aim to use Men?s Sheds as a
means of creating more stable, connected, and cohesive communities. We
also seek to improve the physical and mental wellbeing of Irish men to
the greatest extent possible.

THE ROLE:

IMSA is now seeking an experienced, innovative Fundraising Manager to
join our team to develop and implement an annual fundraising plan to
maximise our income from a variety of sources. If you are a passionate
and experienced Fundraising Manager who can work across the
fundraising mix with strong emphasis on Corporate Donors and National
Fundraising Campaigns, then this role is for you.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Develop an annual Fundraising Plan to maximise income from a
variety of sources in line with IMSA?s fundraising strategy.
* Create a new annual National Fundraising Campaign.
* Research and develop leads amongst prospective supporters and
partners and build a network of interested organisations and companies
who will financially support IMSA.
* Work closely with the CEO to develop corporate propositions for
potential corporate partners from across the business world.
* Manage all fundraising relationships with new prospects, donors
and sponsors on an ongoing basis.
* Provide excellent donor care to all donors and fundraisers, ensure
that all donor contact is properly recorded and ensure that all
correspondence is compliant with current data protection legislation.
* Put in place a legacy fundraising strategy for IMSA.
* Work with the Communications Officer to ensure the fundraising
message is appropriately presented to existing and new audiences.
* Manage the Fundraising budget and report monthly to the CEO on
specific activity and financial targets.
* Maintain our subscription to the Statement of Guiding Principles
for Fundraising (ICTR) and continue to work in full compliance with
the Governance Code.
* Represent IMSA at all fundraising networking events

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

* A minimum 3 YEARS+ in a fundraising, sales or business development
role.
* A deep passion, connection and understanding of the work of IMSA.
* Excellent networking and influencing skills and ability to develop
relationships from initial contact to long-lasting partnerships.
* Ability to create and deliver compelling presentations on the
organisation?s work to a variety of audiences
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Proven experience of planning, managing and reporting on budgets
and targets.
* Highly skilled at developing and maintaining internal and external
working relationships at all levels.
* Self-starter with strong determination to succeed.
* Strong project management experience, the ability to prioritise
and meet specific targets and deadlines.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

* A Third Level Qualification in sales, business or a related field.
* Good working knowledge of MS Office and CRM systems (ideally
Salesforce).
* A fundraising qualification is desirable but is not essential.
* Strong passion and commitment to IMSA?s values.

KEY INFORMATION ABOUT THIS ROLE:

* This is initially a full-time, one year contract. Extension is
subject to funding.
* The Fundraising Manager will report directly to the Chief
Executive
* The IMSA office is based Irish Farm Centre, Dublin **Apply on the

* Pension ? Option to join PRSA scheme after 6 months
* The annual leave entitlement is **Apply on the website** days per
year.
* IMSA uses Salesforce as its CRM database
* A full driving licence and access to a car are essential for this
role
